It is only a new rumor against bitcoin as with the rise of bitcoin value a lot of altcoins has lost its value and so for recovering the value of their coins all the altcoin supporters are try to persuade people to sell bitcoin, but now everyone is more clever and no one will sell any coin till halving or the end of this year.

Yes, if you are only going for the short term gain, maybe it is time to part with your coins. However, if you are hoping for a better coin and believe in bitcoin, you should hodl and I am sure (as I believe in bitcoin) that the long term gain will be much higher!
