Expensive yes. Popularity, maybe a little addition to the community but not that large scale. Many will see it and may try it but will not understand it and forfeit continuing it.

I think bitcoins price is never expensive if you are only using to use it as a means of transaction online. Remember bitcoins is not a thing it is just a fuel that we can use on online transaction to get the most benefits with fast and cheap cost.

It will never be expensive because we have not determine yet the maximum price of bitcoins and with this current price for me we can still profit in the future if you are an investor, but to tell you it is not easy you need to more discipline because of the bad news that may occur and will change the way you look on investing with BTC.
