Just like all other HYIP sites, HashOcean can fake the numbers of investors as well. There's even a script being sold (I've found it somewhere) to fake bitcoin transactions. That much number of investors would give new investors the idea that they are "late for the party" and would just jump in and invest their money. Who doesn't want to make money without doing much effort anyway.
