No no no, the banking system is not afraid of crypto currencies lol they actually most likely love them because they make a shitload of profit from bank transfers from btc to usd or usd to btc they make hundreds of thousands of dollars daily from just simple transactions of people that want btc or want to sell btc.

There's not much STOPPING people from using btc but the fact of the matter is people are just scared of their ignorance in something so they dont try to learn, they're just lazy and they are too scared to ask people, So lets all help them out lol share what you know with your friends (even if they dont ask) lol.

Ignorance plays a big role indeed. I have experienced several people around me that thought to know for sure that Bitcoin was the currency of the underworld. That was their reason to not use or learn more about Bitcoin. It's the media that is brainwashing people as they take everything that comes from the media for granted. It took me a lot effort to explain them what Bitcoin really is and how it can help them securing their wealth and stuff. They finally showed some interest instead of disliking Bitcoin directly.

This is so true. I know people to this say who say Bitcoin is failed or Bitcoin is only used by sketchy people etc even when companies like Steam now take Bitcoin for payment and the whole Coinbase-Paypal deal.
