It has nothing to do with the price if you are earning them from somewhere like a signature campaign or something else that has a fixed amount to give you in a week or in a month, but it matters if you are earning from faucets or from any other places that pays you for what you do at that time, and it is really not possible to earn 1btc in a year with such small tasks like faucets.

Faucets will really take a long time to achieve that value, signature campaign will allow you to earn that amount over a period of time, but if you want to make it quick then trading will help you in the best way.
