Yes depends on individual how fast he wants return on his investments, if he can afford to wait then he should go with gold but if wants to make it quick then no better option then bitcoin.

If it would be that easy everybody would pick bitcoin to get bigger returns "faster".
The problem most people forget ist, you can have equaly bigger and "faster" loses.
