I noticed sometimes the wattman settings get funky when tweaking, so I have to reset the settings back to default everytime when I want to create a new config and also restart the computer. Give that a try.

Also, I noticed when I try to change wattman settings on the fly while mining, it goes wack, so I only change it when not mining and then do a full computer restart.

If you want to lower your memory clock to 1750, you need to flash your 8gb to 4gb bios because the 8gb bios is locked at 2000 mhz for the lowest memory clock in wattman from what I can see.

Edit: Plus, there was no need for that 8gb for eth for now, so I figured it should save some power by the bios disabling 4gb and having the memory clock to 1750 instead of 2000 mhz.

Thanks for responding , I dont want to gimp my 8GB cards I like the higer hash rate , I overclock them all to 2200 mhs , I notice that i can lower the wattage on the memory so thats how I have been reducing power use
on the higher memory overclocks.

I suspect the reason the 4GB cards are capped at 1750 is more because they use lower qaulity chips not due to the amount of on board ram

I can get up to 27.8 mhs with the memory overclock and thats stable, its when i try to reduce the core wattage and the core frenqency i have problems, and eth only needs around 900 or so like in your settings
but whenever i set the core freq lower it resets to either really low like 700 ish or just ignores my manual frequency setting.

I might try a fresh install after i test the new rig im working on right now.
