not really a friend, someone who I have worked on projects with, just found it easier to call him a friend rather than "someone I worked on projects with"

Anyway back to my original question, if this happens tonight will my waves be at safe value?

Who can tell? If you're really afraid of missing out, put sell orders at a high price (don't ask how much exactly. That's for you to find out). If it pumps and dumps and it fills you sell orders, you'll make nice profit and you can rebuy a lot more Waves. If it just pumps and stays up there, you'll still have a nice profit. If nothing happens, nothing is lost. If it dumps, well It would probably have dumped anyway.
