Also looking at making sure LTC isn't borked this time by one miner mining at 1MH/s while the rest are CPU mining it.

Well, I can certainly understand I0C not coming back (unless whoever is tinkering with it actually gets it current again), but why discontinue NMC as well?

NMC hasn't really been updated in a year+. Basically, unless there's overwhelming demand that I leave it in the rotation (which there seems to be that demand), I'm just gonna phase it out. But since that demand is present, I will keep it going with NMC.
