This is not true. People can quit if they really have the desire to quit gambling. Maybe you are stucked to gambling because it was your choice to gamble even if it is already bad to you. Even drug addiction can be cure, so, gambling addiction can be cured too. And those who have. A strong desire to get away from gambling will be able to quit and get away from it.

Yes, I agree. I know all of us can quit in gambling if we are really addicted to it. It is also depend on you if you REALLY want to. And if you have that determination to quit I guess you will just stuck of what you are doing always.

When you are addicted you just listen to yourself and you are dictated by your emotions all the time, you are not thinking clear so you need to be help by other people non other than your very own family, just listen to them and everything will be back to normal.

Well i think its better to go in psychiatrist they can help you quit in gambling its very hard to quit but psychiatrist can help you to recommend how you can quit it.. also you need your family to help you its a big help..

well, all of you had a point in every way. I guess we all need your advice try one by one then if what is more effective in you then continue of what you are doing for you to totally quit in gambling for good.

Even you seek professional help for guaidance and prevention if you're not even helping yourself then it it's non-sense. The decision will always be yours, seeking guidance will sure give you an idea but if you still don't prevent yourself and still play gambling then it will not work even you go in professional help multiple time.
