I wish to support this idea but am struggling to install a pre 1.14.10 build of the wallet , I don't know how to compile stuff , and every version of the wallet I have tried so far sticks me on 1.14.10 with the option to go on the old chain greyed out .

I have a little hash i wish to throw at it to help support ETHC so .....

If any kindly soul could give me any advice on how to get a windows friendly version of 1.14.9 up and running it would be greatly appreciated.

Did you already have mist on your PC? You may need to go into your appdata or whatever and changed some folder names.

The windows wallet linked on this thread worked for me. I was able to select to oppose the fork, install the wallet, and create a new address. I do not yet know if I will successfully receive a deposit, but I will update my original post on page 1 with more information as I get it.
