People choose gold over the other investment in this world not because they know how to use it or deal with it but because it has the most stable price among every other thing currently. If someone wants to save up their money against inflation then gold is probably the most suitable thing for that

Such people are aptly but somewhat derogatory called "gold bugs" (though they are proud being nicknamed like that)

These kind of people is actually a great 'asset' for bitcoin growth. As they tend to keep their fiat in form of gold because of inflation, they probably will get their hands on bitcoin as well if they know about this, the only problem is that the volatility is killing the chance for people to do so right now

Gold bugs are highly conservative (otherwise they wouldn't be into gold in the first place), so I am dead sure they will choose gold over Bitcoin any day...

In fact, some of them consider Bitcoin as being even more evil than fiat itself
