Yeah it is possible to earn a living with Bitcoin but for that to happen you will have to earn allot of Bitcoin.
So I do not think that it is possible for everyone at the moment.

You cannot expect to earn a living with it only by holding it, to earn a living from bitcoin you also need to earn bitcoins on regular basis which can take care of your expenses and family.

According to my thought, earning a living with Bitcoin is possible but that means that you will have to invest allot of money into it to earn much money back. So for the people who do not have much money to spend it is not possible at this moment as you mentioned because this little amount for miscellaneous expenses only.

Yes and it seems risky to invest huge capital in bitcoin as no one knows how long it will survive or what will be its price in future, so we should keep it extra income and go with full time job.
