If the bitcoin does not improve and some bitcoin users hack the bitcoin, it will be replaced by the Ethereum.

If there is not further improvement of the user experience, the bitcoin could be replaced by other coins.

I think the bitcoin should increase the block size soon so that the confirmation time can be reduced within a few blocks.

The block size increase will be implemented by the SegWit in a new client to be release in the next few months.
