It's going to be rough for him. He's already invested so much time in this belief that he stands to lose a lot (psychologically) if he admits he's wrong. It's one thing to admit you were fooled by intelligent, powerful people, and quite another to admit you were fooled by a bunch of idiots on YouTube. One of the links he posted references a guy who drinks his own piss because of the "health benefits" and who calls himself "Allegedly Dave" because, well, how can he really know that he's Dave? Oh boy.

Hopefully he keeps this to himself and doesn't go off in the real word telling his friends, family, and employers where he will stand to lose even more.
