What you said is correct, until their is no spending of bitcoins we cannot reap the benefits of it and the price will be stable and then automatically the interest on bitcoin investment will go off by most of the users. Trading of bitcoin will make the coins worth more and we can see the price increase only by that way.

That is right. There are many altcoins which are used by nobody. The price is near zero. The more usage, the higher the price.

To a certain extend more usage means a higher price, but that's not necessarily true in every case. Back in 2013 the usage was far less compared to now, but the price has reached far higher price levels. And yes, I know that the MtGox bot Willy played a big role in the ATH, but it was the hype and greed that got the price to reach such levels.
