Cause you still have big ego for gambling, you always play then things wanna big some a jackpot. addicted cause you have some big a bad habbits for your life. anythings over of line will be make it worse, so stay away for gambling and your life will be better. goodluck buddy 
While i almost understood your stand, its true. I got out from gambling before i get to sink deeper in to it that i have to sell thing just so i can feed my craving to bet and win bigger amounts. bigger wining cost big bets as well and big bets lose bigger amounts.
The basic principle of only using bankroll that you can afford to lose holds true all of the time. If you are betting big amount of bets, it is still ok as long as you can still afford to lose that bankroll. Hence, the amount of money you bet does not matter at all, what matters most is that you are ok if that big bets will lost.
