I think if you use trading methods certainly you should need capital. and I think not all people have the capital to start a job.

Trading can be very risky if you're inexperienced or you have a hard time predicting movements on a market, however if you know what you're doing and have the time you can make a lot of money off of trading. It just depends on whether or not you're going to be able to move coins with enough volume and actually make money off of them.
