heres my advice to you: don't mess with margin, buy, hold or sell.

I like this advice. I've only been thinking about it but I am still relatively uncertain of consequences and other things involved with margin. Thank you for taking the time to reply.

A friend of mine went long on GBP/EUR just before it dropped heavily and he lost thousands. Think very carefully if you are margin trading - and make sure you get out early and setup stop losses.

This is my all time fear. No matter how much I learn there's always that chance. Sorry about your friend. That event must have been gut wrenching.
