I do not think that Bitcoin is going to be taken over by a other currency because Bitcoin is the most popular one so it would not make sense.
It would make more sense if Bitcoin took over the other cryptocurrencies.

anything can be replaces someday with a new technology and a better one. just the same way fiat replaced the old way of trading and when no money were created and just the same way bitcoin is (to some extent) replacing fiat and so on.

i could agree with you and that's really normal,people always seeking anything that's better so moving on to the latest technology which could actually give us more advantage and benefits is just part of natural law,and it's always happening
