Maybe for you but in overall we can tell that the price of bitcoin has already increase a 100% this year alone and for me that is already called as major improvement.

How you are saying that the price is increased 100%, you don't know that price is dropped from 750$ to 500$ and then it is stable between 550$ to 580$, this year 2016 is not good for bitcoin so 2017 will be the best year for bitcoin and price will increase in next year, this is my prediction. No one knows exactly what will gonna happen in future.
