Most Chinese exchanges are creating fake volumes as they have 0% trading fee. The Bitfinex might be an exception.

Considering they're doing so much random stuff id strongly advise avoiding them for a while. The volumes they suggest seem to be fake as they are ridiculously high volumes just after the attack. They will have lost many loyal customers with the stupid BFX token idea and the initial failures in security.

Bitfinex as many other exchangers have at least 70% fake volumes. Why do they do that? Because they attract many clients which believe that a company with many transactions is a a trusted one.
