Yeah investing in promising ICO can give you good profits but you need to make good research before investing as most of the devs disappears after they have made enough money from it.

I advise against investing or considering investment in any of the altcoin ICOs because of the amount of risk they yield. ICO has turned into an easy way of scamming people, especially new investors who are not so informed about altcoin scene.

even the faucet owner is not making $100, and they are earning very small amounts too. especially with all the exploits users use to bypass the captcha and block the ads and claim automatically. and also the ad networks not paying them and scamming them in another way.

This is true. faucet are not getting any good profit, if you want to multiply your 100 USD the best thing to do is take risk. You can try your luck by gambling or you can try your skill in trading by trading high volatility altcoins. Like for example, if you participated in Pesobit ICO and trade it to bitcoin now, you could have enjoyed a x10 profit.
