Cost will grow significantly? Cost for what, mining? Or are you talking about the price that will go up significantly? If the latter, then I can't seem to find any indication that the price will go up quite a bit. At least not this year. From where do you get that impression?

He must be meaning that price of bitcoin. Because, people are using some terms interchangeably regardless of meaning of it.

I prefer to have more bitcoin than gold as bitcoin will significantly give more returns than gold for the same period of holding. This had happened in past hopefully will be happening in coming years too.
