It has the power to do both in your life. It can fix your life, not with winnings or money, but with the knowledge it gives. It can give you broad knowledge on calculating each steps in your life. You win in your bet or not, you still possess the knowledge it gives to carry on your life.

Well, on the other hand, it can completely ruin your life from any stage. Usually, ruining shits happen on blind beliefs that you generate within yourself that you're winner!

it more on the latter than the former dude. big winnings that would make you extremely rich are from gambling games such as lottery which doesn't really need knowledge but luck. massive amount of luck. so the chance of gambling a fix to your life is considerably small compared to how it can affect your family, friends and financial life.

But I do not see it that way because it cannot fix nor wreck my life, gambling is just an entertainment and it should not be part of our system. We play gambling to have fun and to be entertain out from the busy working life but it should be done occasionally only.
