Your opinion is good as we have different aspects in life .but the question is till how much you'll save and what will you do with your savings as you are afraid to take risk even to put it on a business in real world. You cannot save more money if your not into business if im not mistaken.

i agree with both of you though, it's important to have savings and to have investments as well. i think these two should actually go hand in had with each other. investments are taking risks so you also have to have savings as back up in case it doesn't work out well for the type in investment you've engaged in.
