It's a personal thing whether or not you find 2017 to be the year of Bitcoin. For you it may feel like so, while for the other it's completely the opposite. It all depend on how much profit someone has made. That's how people here see it.

Yeah and people who have made great profits in this year by selling their coins before the halving when price was above $750 level will be surely satisfied with this year and for them 2016 would be the best year for bitcoins.
