yeah I think there are some considerations before you have to hold your bitcoin longer, certainly one of them is that you still have enough money left to pay the cost of your need in real life, then you can hold your bitcoin longer
That is already given because the real principle in investing would tell you that you should invest what you can afford to lose, your daily expenses should be properly taken cared of and we should not put all our money in bitcoins if we do not want to regret when something bad happens.
