you can never predict anything , even in forex markets.
what you do is guessing the future price. and to answer your question i have to say yes and no. because price around here is a little bit different than forex but also the same in many aspects.

so what i suggest is using whatever indicator you can but don't rely too much on them.

Although you cannot exactly predict the altcoin prices but the first thing to look is at the buy orders. The more the buy orders , means people interested in purchasing this coin and hence you can safely invest in it.

not exactly as simple like that mate you really needed to be more extra careful you cant say if that buy order is for real in trading there's always a risk for us to able to make some precaution we just needed to study it hard double check the thread their website and the project and developers behind so we can assure our self that there would be a future goal some that project that we are supporting with.

to be honest with you, trading forex or altcoin demand alot of experience and knowledge. Most at times I do wonder how newbies go into trading with little or know experience at all. Trading is a game of expert and the only one that can really succeed in trading are those who took trading as business and not gambling.

newbie or no, you can start trading and be successful in it too. i was a newbie once - not yet an expert but i am a lot better- and even in the start with all the mistakes i made it was profitable for me in the end.

the problem is when they stop using their brain and start listening to others, like reading on trollbox coin ... is good then they run there to buy coin ... and then regret it but they do it again tomorrow and then come up with the idea that trading is like gambling.
