Yeah this is good idea. but back to personal itself, people bring their smartphone, using it everday, but mostly.. open facebook, instagram, ect.
Actually if you a developer it can be an opportunity, build a project which can manage money easy using 1 apps.

I like the idea as well and i also do it as i have made a file for my investement and expenses in my laptop and i update that once every day in the night time of how much i earned how much i spended on different things and that actually helping me now manage my money.
