I am still wondering how this can be done without a current chain. If the devs are planning to create a new chain it is one thing, but if they want to use the existing chain then they will need a chain. I have asked several times already where they are going to get a current existing chain.

I have just downloaded fantomcoind from the website http://fantomcoin.org/ and started syncing the blockchain. You can start syncing with this command:
fantomcoind --add-peer 148.251.51.113:8280

I have tried doing that but I get "unknown command" Huh
