you are right. this is the sad truth. lets launch en exchange an trade IOU coins.
a lot of traders don't even have altcoins wallets installed i think. they just have a BTC wallet.

A CFD (Contract For Difference) exchange would have to be settled with pricing from a live coin exchange...
Without a live coin exchange providing price discovery anyone with $$$$$ could just short any coin to zero.
