They wont be mining but then its been a while since I was 'allowed' to do that myself. Its usable even in basic equipment, mostly its needing an ok electricity supply I think. All you can hope is they have solar power access if not a good network and basic Pi doesnt take much so its feasible I think.

Bitcoin isnt exactly work, its more like that it removes work or makes it alot easier. The transmission of capital is an enabler for business and work possibly and that means employment for some that might not have a good means of communication to the wider world otherwise. It needs 1 place to act as a hub and transmitter for that community, even in our rich countries it wasnt out of living memory that only some parts had radio and they shared. They made do and it was a community resource, thats all that needs to happen. Bitcoin can be a resource and provide utility of basic finance, that is a useful thing for those isolated especially I think

Can bitcoin help poor countries, in a very small way I think so and from there they can possibly build to more. A spark of hope for sure imo

My information such that Bitcoin will not be able to help poor countries. Even if implemented in their financial system blockchain technology, it will not work. If officials do not want to work, they will not help anybody.
