yes currently bitcoin is in developing stage but you can notice that the speed of its development is much faster than any other traditional currency even faster than the development of USD and I have noticed one more thing that USD is used only by those who have to transact or shop internationally while bitcoin is adopted even for local use like for holding for future as trade assets etc.

I think both of them have in common bitcoin and the dollar is accepted in many countries, but that is to be special for bitcoin bitcoin compared to the dollar is not controlled by anyone and you're free to do anything with bitcoin

i think the only common in bitcoin is that both are currencies, and can be use for trading and shopping, otherwise bitcoin is online crypto curency while bitcoin is fiat currency, USD is one of the most popular fiat currency, while bitcoin is one of the most popular crypto currency of the world, USD is regional and centralize currency while bitcoin is a decentralize currency having same vale everywhere.
