I don't think so, if you remove and reinstall everything, it should work, but I think the bot should be able to display instructions when asked.

Well you can find general instructions in the first post, but the instructions are specific to each device. Either you send a micropayment to an address (the micropayment and the address are displayed by the bot and are not the same for everyone), or you sign your Byteball address and copy/paste the result in the chat interface (this one you can do I guess), however I don't know if the bot (in its silent state) will respond to that ... Try it
