thank you very much, i must have copied the signature incorrectly because it doesnt verify. i will try again and check it with those helpful links you provided.

why doesnt multibit allow copy pasting of these sigs and addys? ill assume its a security measure, but it makes it nearly impossible to use.

anyway, thanks for the help. i dont even really use bitcointalk anymore, i just dont feel right knowing a cheat is using my good identity.
