This is the best for OP to know since he stated that steady income but without actively doing anything, no trading/gambling/loaning indicated you just need to have miner at home.

No, mining is not the best way to have steady income. Because it depends on the country where you live. As we know it also requires great investment before starting to get profit with it. I disagree that you don't need trading to have steady income, because many are getting more profit from trading and even me.

Yes, you're correct and I agree with you on this cos a lot of miners don't make any income this days due to their mining expense.
