I think so too. The only good thing that it has is the Zero Knowledge Proof technology, in which, it should've been implemented into Bitcoin in the first place instead of creating a new alternative cryptocurrency for it. In my own opinion, Zcash developers decided to make their own coin, for them to profit with the founders reward, instead of delivering true development and innovation. If you take a good look at Zcash right now, it is still in its early steps with no GUI and not even a full-fledged command line wallet (as I have tried some commands that were listed, but it stated that they were not available yet such as multisig)

Nevertheless, I think that Komodo may take the lead and become the best Zero Knowledge Proof cryptocurrency in the market, due to its innovation, and most of all, active development team. Another one that may also rise would be Zcoin, but I guess that it shall be known as time goes by. Since cryptocurrencies are extremely unpredictable, anything could happen. Just sharing my thoughts.
