Wen you decide to consider gambling as your way to steady income then you have to prepare for the possible negative outcome also, you must know all the possibilities so you will be able to analyze and justify your move, and just like a business, you must set a good amount of capital and an experimental period to determine if it's profitable for you or not.

Actually it's true, gambling is too risky, and it should not be considered a way of getting steady income as it is more in the losing side and lesser of a bigger win. If you sum all your losses and wins, you will still fall short in winning. Also, putting in bigger capital in your bankroll would just make you careless in betting and always thinking about second chances.
