You are right. Any person who will go with these type of ICOs will lost their money. We have to join only those ICOs which will have verified personalities and if the developers want to remain anonymous then they have to escrow the funds and have to start services with their coin so the coin will not die and no one will lose at these coins/projects.

Many students want to get rid of their student loans, so they need to create some new ways to desperately get some money. But I don't think most "investors" are so low IQ that will buy into these craps.

Concerning escrow, the main problem we have is that our investors are working in the banking and public sectors, and in the United States is strictly forbidden to engage in any more financial activities. I reported about this problem to management. Maybe director or one of the investors will be our escrow. I hope that during the ICO we will solve this problem.
