I always saw people mention goldcoders as legit/good source for hyip templates, am I wrong or what. Also how do you recognize it's gc, you didn't say

Its true, many people think, that its a 100% safe script to use, however that's not entirely true, there are problems.
I did not say ALL GC Sites can go down like this, I said, that many does, which means that many run good also.
My post is to rise awareness about this.

About recognizing them, its easy. Like 95% of GC websites (which don't re-write links), look exactly the same.
