Real names and adresses will easily be found through their associated banks. I believe an investigation could get that information. Not at all sure if the police in france can be bothered with this though.. Or if they're competent enough to handle it. As you probably understand by now, I don't have much faith in the legal system, as it usually favours those with the deepest pockets..

Can think of it being a good story for a hollywood movie, the thiefs stole lots of coins, then bought a ticket to a tax heaven with their last savings, retiring with what they thought was a few million worth of USD in crypto-money, and then when landing on their tax-heaven realized everything has gone to zero! (Not that it's going to happen, but still a nice plot - imagine their faces when they pull up their smart phones after landing to see the value of the coins, and it shows it's all gone to zero! hehehe.
