And note further down that XMR gets #2 in governance as well. I guess I need to look into Decred.

Its possible. 2 hours after that tweet, almost 900 BTC buys of XMR on Poloniex. I am surprised how forthcoming he has been on XMR recently. Probably due to a soon to be announced Coinbase reveal.
