There is no planned announcement on the 9th guys. It's just wild speculation. All that is happening on Feb. 9th is some of the Iconomi team will be at a Blockchain conference. Don't expect anything.

They'll be there with a presentation. The way they phrased it makes me think at most it'll be an announcement of the launch date. Of course I could be wrong and they could ninja launch at any point, but that'd be pretty shady I think.

Attending a conference is different from presenting there. I don't have a feeling there will be any surprise announcement, I think the team don't want to commit themselves to any date until the platform is ready for use. Thanks the dumpers are out of the picture now and the price has found new floor around 41ksat

What they'll "talk" about could be anything, and everyone here is hoping that it's more info on the release date.

That is true that they can literally end up talking about anything they choose too, however, you don't schedule a big conference to talk about minor updates. There's only 2 scenarios that will occur on February 9th. Either they release the platform or they tell us a launch date. Hoping for the first scenario so we can start getting those dividends but either way this will appreciate the value of icn. Unless they come out with a release date that is out of Q1.
