I think even in the United States not so much people know about bitcoin. Bitcoin is not so known in general yet.
But if to talk about bitcoin vs dollar I would say that bitcoin could remove all minuses of fiat and took all pluses from this fiat.

I agree for popularity USD is better than bitcoin, but in terms of usage, bitcoin is better than the USD or other fiat. bitcoin prices that continue to rise will attract people's attention, I think the popularity of bitcoin will continue to grow.
