well there are a lot of new crypto currencies popping out from time to time and a lot of them have actually better specifications than the bitcoin, though bitcoin is more adopted at the moment

I can call it the bitcoin's fork. But the main adoption still on the bitcoin although the bitcoin still have a lot of the problem like the terrible network to deliver a lot of the transaction and validating it.
