From what I know, the government has no control over bitcoin so bitcoin itself doesn't have taxes, we don't have to pay taxes for it but taxes are imposed on every product that we buy and use. So there is no way of escaping from duty. But I do agree that bitcoin is quite popular in deep webs for various things like gambling, buying drugs,etc.
I'm I wrong if think that bitcoin is got its first good start in deep web right? I first learn about bitcoin when I reading something about dark net. Till now, I still think that always the best place for bitcoin and cryptocurrency. But I think people should think difference. I mean don't think that bitcoin is used for bad purpose, then its will not
The fact is bitcoin can be use for good and bad purpose as it is just an online currency which is a tool for transaction, the owner of bitcoins has the right on how to spend his bitcoins and we cannot deny that there are really people who would take advantage on the anonymity of bitcoin and uses it in illegal transactions. Their actions does not make the image of bitcoin bad because clearly there are more people who are using bitcoin in legitimate transaction than in illegal transactions, and with the regulations of the government, the illegal transactions will be minimize.
