When you want to fill a large order that exceeds the liquidity of the market at current prices, you'll have to pay a higher price to find enough sellers. That's probably what was the case here, no?

Well not entirely. They wanted their larger order filled and it surely exceeded liquidity. But in stead of paying a higher price for it (what would be the logical way of markets), they got a 20% lower price. Wish I could get those deals as well! Like put a buy order for 10k BTC @ $ 1000 and get it filled instantly, lol Roll Eyes

I wish I could too lol. I can't complain though I made 1 btc on trading today. Yay!
