If I'm not the wrong, those bans were done long back for two sessions, and there are two new teams are introduced to replace those two teams for just two sessions. After these two sessions then old franchises will come back and these two new teams may continue, or they may drop them at that point. But I don't agree that people can make lot of money from these matches because many of these matches are fixed and you can't guess just based on their performance.

You are right about the two teams getting back in the next season but you are wrong about "people making money on fixed matches" . Not you and me but the owners and co-owners made a lot of money by this , they should not be allowed back into IPL according to me but you know how it works its all politics.

In cricket IPL is a big tournament and it will give huge revenue to BCCI. They don't care for the international match, but they care for IPL. This event will generate big revenue for all team owners if they win or lose no matter the owners will be in huge profit. And yes all most all matches will be fixed, we can not guess team results easily base on team performance.

This is what we call it IPL a pure fixed league where anything can happen, it is stretched with 50 days of matches. This time i think Hyderabad or Gujarat team will perform and win the tournament.
