In a way you are correct, since there is no point in worrying about what it was we need to worry about what we can do now, but at the same time you dont want to buy when the price is at the top because then it will be difficult to obtain any profits at all.

Yeah its never smart idea to buy when price is high as it will kill your profits and its always good to buy when price drops and sell them when price goes higher and that is the best way to make profits and most of the traders are making profits in the same way.

Most traders, if they collect a large number of bitcoins, they can safely influence the market of crypto-currencies, and at the same time creating fluctuations in the exchange rate, betting the course of bitcoins, and profiting from it.

I think you are speaking of whales rather than traders, if a trader is skilled in what he does he will obtain a good deal of bitcoins but it will never be able to compare to whales that have tens or even hundreds of thousands of bitcoins, so their influence in the market is going to be limited.
